Baseball Game Preview: Splendora Wildcats vs. Pasadena Eagles

Splendora is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will head out on the road to challenge the Pasadena Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Splendora's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Pasadena's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Saturday. Splendora took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Clear Creek. The game marked Splendora's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Splendora saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Sepanio, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Pasadena's offense. They lost 10-0 to MacArthur on Tuesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Splendora's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Pasadena, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
