Soccer Recap: DeKalb Takes a Loss

After flying high against Rockford East last Tuesday, DeKalb came back down to earth. DeKalb fell 2-0 to the Kaneland Knights on Thursday. If DeKalb were looking for revenge after losing 4-2 to Kaneland when the teams met back in April of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

DeKalb's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Kaneland, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. DeKalb will square off against Dixon at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kaneland, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Ottawa at 4:30 p.m. on April 7.
