It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lafayette had no problem doing just that on Monday. Everything went their way against the Caledonia Cavaliers as they made off with a 3-0 win. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

While Lafayette might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Caledonia scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-19, 26-24.

Lafayette has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-19 record this season. As for Caledonia, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 21-13-2.
