Basketball Recap: The Ehrhart School Eagles vs. Community Christian Lions
The Ehrhart School Eagles made easy work of the Community Christian Lions on Thursday and carried off a 71-47 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.
The Ehrhart School got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Acen Gobert out in front who went 8-for-15 to rack up 16 points along with five boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Byars, who shot 45% from the field on his way to 20 points and four steals.
Community Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Noah Smith, who went 7-for-12 en route to 16 points, and Ben Samuel, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 14 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals.
