Baseball Game Preview: Southern School of Energy and Sustainability Spartans vs. Louisburg Warriors

The Southern School of Energy and Sustainability Spartans will square off against the Louisburg Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Last Thursday, Southern School of Energy and Sustainability didn't have quite enough to beat Carrboro and fell 2-1. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Louisburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Tarboro, falling 10-2. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Southern School of Energy and Sustainability's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Louisburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Southern School of Energy and Sustainability came out on top in a nail-biter against Louisburg in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 10-9.
