Soccer Game Preview: Rockford Christian vs. Harlem + How To Watch

The Rockford Christian Royal Lions will head out on the road to challenge the Harlem Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Rockford Christian's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Rockford Christian played in-conference for the first time on Monday and got just the result they were looking for. They won by a goal and slipped past Lutheran 3-2. The score was all tied up 2-2 at the break, but Rockford Christian were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Harlem was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to Freeport. One thing that didn't help Harlem's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Brayden Peek.

Harlem now has a losing record of 6-7-1. As for Rockford Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 2-8.

Rockford Christian beat Harlem 4-2 when the teams last played back in September of 2019. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Royal Lions since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
