Softball Recap: Groesbeck Takes a Loss

Groesbeck lost against Elkhart back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Groesbeck came up short against Elkhart, falling 13-3. The Goats' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Groesbeck's record now sits at 4-11. As for Elkhart, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Groesbeck will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mexia at 7:00 p.m. on the 11th. As for Elkhart, they will host Teague at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Elkhart is facing Teague at the right time seeing as Teague is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
