St. Maries came out on top against Priest River on Thursday thanks in part to Lyssa Watkins's efforts. Watkins scored two runs while going 1-for-3, which was good enough to also set a new career-high in RBI.

Watkins' strong effort led St. Maries over Priest River and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lumberjacks are 7-1-1 against the Spartans going back to April of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
