Softball Recap: East Rochester Bombers vs. Clyde-Savannah Golden Eagles

East Rochester scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Clyde-Savannah Golden Eagles as the East Rochester Bombers made off with a 19-11 victory. Winning may never get old, but East Rochester sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

For Clyde-Savannah's part, Alexis Tohafjian made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole five bases while going 3-for-4. Olivia Drahms was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4.

Even though they lost, Clyde-Savannah was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .424. That's the best batting average they've managed all season.

East Rochester's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-4. As for Clyde-Savannah, they haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
