Softball Recap: Troy Comes Up Short

If Troy was riding high fresh off their 17-1 takedown of Lincoln County on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans wound up with the same score they had in their last game (17-1), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The result was an unpleasant reminder to them of the 12-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Troy's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Three Forks, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9.

While Troy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
