Preview: West Trojans vs. Keene Chargers
West has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Keene Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully West is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Keene in Texas (West is ranked 211th, while Keene is ranked 684th).
Last Tuesday, West didn't have too much trouble with Clifton at home as they won 32-17.
Meanwhile, Keene can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They blew past Whitney 58-37. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Keene has posted since December 18, 2023.
West's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-1. Keene's record now sits at 17-10.
West came up short against Keene in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 41-36. Can West avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
