Volleyball Recap: Alameda Takes a Loss

Alameda was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Castro Valley Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-17, 20-25, 25-15.

Alameda's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Castro Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won 16 of their last 20 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.

Alameda wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against San Leandro on the 24th. As for Castro Valley, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Piedmont on the 24th.
