Basketball Recap: New Mexico School for the Deaf Takes a Loss

New Mexico School for the Deaf was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 73-28 defeat at the hands of the Cimarron Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-47 last Monday.

New Mexico School for the Deaf's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Cimarron, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Coming up, New Mexico School for the Deaf will square off against Roy/Mosquero at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cimarron, they will challenge Maxwell on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Maxwell sitting on four straight wins and Cimarron on three.
