Softball Recap: Delavan-Darien Takes a Loss

Delavan-Darien was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Clinton Cougars, falling 15-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Comets of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Delavan-Darien's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Clinton, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Coincidentally, Delavan-Darien and Clinton will both be playing Palmyra-Eagle the next time they take the field. The Comets will host the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Cougars will head out to face them at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
