Soren Etheridge turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than nine strikeouts on Monday. He struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Phoenix Country Day is 4-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 5-6 otherwise.

Coming up, Etheridge and Phoenix Country Day will take on Tempe Prep at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
