Baseball Recap: Summers County Bobcats vs. PikeView Panthers

After flying high against Bluefield on Thursday, Summers County came back down to earth. The Bobcats lost 15-3 to the PikeView Panthers on Friday. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Summers County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braiden Cozort, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Another was Robey Brown, who earned one RBI, one run, and one stolen base.

Summers County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-17-1. As for PikeView, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-9.
