Softball Recap: Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua Wins Going Away Against Dawson County

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Manhattan, Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Dawson County Red Devils with a sharp 8-2 win.

Brynn Donaldson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up 14 Ks.

On the hitting side, CharLee McColly was a standout: she scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Halle Hunter, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua now has a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Sidney at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dawson County, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-2 defeat against Glasgow on the 1st.
