Volleyball Recap: Glenbrook South Gets the Win

Glenbrook South lost to Buffalo Grove back in May of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Titans came out on top against the Bison by a score of 2-0.

While Glenbrook South won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-15.

Will Elias paced Glenbrook South's offense, picking up nine kills. Elias got some help from Logan Ball and his 16 assists. Jake Widner controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Glenbrook South's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Buffalo Grove, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Glenbrook South will take on Guilford in a tournament on Friday. As for Buffalo Grove, they will head out on the road to challenge Rolling Meadows at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bison are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
