Basketball Recap: Westmont Takes a Loss

Westmont lost against Reavis back in December of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Westmont Sentinels lost to the Reavis Rams on the road by a 48-32 margin. The Sentinels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Westmont's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Reavis, with the win, they broke their eight-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-8.

Westmont and Reavis could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. Westmont (ranked 566th) will meet IC Catholic Prep (ranked 120th) at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Meanwhile, Reavis will face off against Lemont at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025 down 469 places (621 vs. 152).
