Inter-City Baptist had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Lutheran Warriors. The Chargers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Inter-City Baptist's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games.
