Volleyball Recap: Hunt Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Hunt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the North Lenoir Hawks.

Hunt was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20, 25-14.

Makenzie Collins paced Hunt's offense, picking up 12 kills. Collins got some help from Addie Bennett and her 21 assists. Bennett also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with KaDee Bass, racking up four apiece.

Hunt's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for North Lenoir, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Hunt wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against C.B. Aycock on the 26th. As for North Lenoir, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Pamlico County on the 20th.
