Volleyball Recap: West Carroll Comes Up Short + How To Watch

West Carroll lost against East Dubuque back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Thunder took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by exactly two points. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-23.

West Carroll's offense was headlined by Laikyn Lawrence and Courtney Knop, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Audri Wilcox and her 14 assists. Knop also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Maddie Reifsteck, each putting up two.

West Carroll has been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 16 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-21 record this season. As for East Dubuque, their win bumped their record up to 12-13.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. West Carroll will challenge rival Stockton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, East Dubuque is set to take on their familiar foe Warren at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
