Flushing had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the Kearsley Hornets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-1 on Monday.

Flushing's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Kearsley, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Flushing will venture away from home to face off against St. Francis at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Kearsley, they will challenge Owosso at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
