Basketball Recap: Minooka Wins Going Away Against Bremen

The third road match was the charm for Minooka, as they earned their first road win of the season. They blew past the Bremen Braves 61-35 on Wednesday. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 260th, while the Braves are ranked 541st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Minooka now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Bremen, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Minooka and Romeoville will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Romeoville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games. As for Bremen, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Francis W. Parker at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Francis W. Parker will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Bremen surely won't give up without a fight.
