Recap: Stuart Broncos vs. Central Valley Cougars
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Niobrara/Verdigre, the Stuart Broncos were happy to have found some success on Friday. They walked away with a 47-39 victory over Central Valley. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Stuart also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Despite the defeat, Central Valley had strong showings from Cayle Grossart, who scored 10 points, and Alexis Johnson, who scored 10 points along with 7 rebounds.
The win got Stuart back to even at 1-1. As for Central Valley, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
Stuart and Bloomfield will face off without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Central Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Fullerton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
