Volleyball Recap: Freeman Gets the Win

Freeman won the last time they faced Falls City and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Falcons came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Freeman was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-12.

Their offense was headlined by Reagan Rinne and Adison Otto, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Aniston Bartunek and her 18 assists. Alicia Johansen controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Gabi Young and Hallie Young certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Gabi had 14 digs, while Hallie had seven digs.

Freeman's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Falls City, their defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-6.

Freeman didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Johnson-Brock on the 25th. As for Falls City, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Lourdes Central Catholic on the 25th.
