Baseball Recap: Rocket City Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Rocket City's offense. They came up short against the Columbia Academy Bulldogs on Saturday, falling 18-0. The Rockets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Rocket City has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-8 record this season. As for Columbia Academy, their record now sits at 18-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rocket City will host Giles County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Columbia Academy, they will welcome Middle Tennessee Monarchs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
