Flag Football Game Preview: Arizona Lutheran Academy Coyotes vs. River Valley Dust Devils

The Arizona Lutheran Academy Coyotes will face off against the River Valley Dust Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Arizona Lutheran Academy 5, River Valley 3.5) so any points scored will be well earned.

Arizona Lutheran Academy fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Arete Prep on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 15-14 to the CHARGERS. The loss was the Coyotes' first of the season.

Although Arizona Lutheran Academy took the loss, they still got scores from JJ Grams and Ella Miller.

Even if they lost, Arizona Lutheran Academy's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Leading the way was Sarah Palmer with two.

Meanwhile, River Valley came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 points), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Patriots get on the board and left with a 24-0 win. That looming 24-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Dust Devils yet this season.

River Valley's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Arizona Lutheran Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.
