Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lone Tree). They blew past the Hillcrest Academy Ravens 15-4 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Ravens: they've now won seven in a row.

Lone Tree pushed their record up to 6-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Hillcrest Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Coming up, Lone Tree will be playing in front of their home fans against West Burlington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hillcrest Academy, they will head out to challenge Belle Plaine on Thursday.
