Basketball Recap: Grand Street Campus Falls Short of South Shore in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Grand Street Campus can now relate to. They came up short against the South Shore Vikings on Wednesday, falling 61-38. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 118th, while the Vikings are ranked 14th).

Grand Street Campus has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season. As for South Shore, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-5.

Grand Street Campus does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Shore, they will take on East New York Family Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
