Smith-Cotton lost against Battle back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Smith-Cotton Tigers were dealt an 80-47 loss at the hands of the Battle Spartans. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Smith-Cotton's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-4. As for Battle, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-3.
