Baseball Recap: Fayetteville Street Christian Wins Going Away Against True Gospel Christian

Fayetteville Street Christian was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against True Gospel Christian on Tuesday. The Patriots blew past the Grizzly 18-3. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won four contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Coen Allmon was a standout: he scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Fayetteville Street Christian is undefeated when Allmon posts two or more runs, but 1-4 otherwise. Logan Morrison was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Fayetteville Street Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .630. They are 2-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

The victory got Fayetteville Street Christian back to even at 4-4. As for True Gospel Christian, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-4.
