Basketball Recap: Mesilla Valley Christian School Picks Up Tenth Straight Win at Home

Mesilla Valley Christian School lost to Capitan two weeks ago, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers came out on top against the Capitan Tigers by a score of 40-32. The win was nothing new for the SonBlazers as they're now sitting on four straight.

Mesilla Valley Christian School's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nevaeh Benjamin, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 14 boards. The dominant performance also gave Benjamin a new career-high in blocks (seven). Katey Black was another key player, putting up 15 points.
