It has been 10 years now that MaxPreps has put out football computer rankings, presented by the Army National Guard.
That's plenty of time to come up with a solid list of which programs have been the most dominant during the MaxPreps era.
For the purpose of the rankings, each team will be awarded points based off where it finished in the computer rankings after each season. For example, if a team finished No. 1 overall it receives 25 points. If the team finished No. 25 overall, it would get one point. A team also receives 30 points for winning a state title and 15 for being the runner-up.

Most dominant New Mexico football programs in the MaxPreps era
1. Mayfield (Las Cruces) - 394 pointsOverall record: 108-23
Mayfield has compiled four 5A state championships and 10 Top 10 finishes, making them the state's most dominant team.
2. Goddard (Roswell) - 331Overall record: 103-27
The Rockets have finished in the Top 25 nine times, capturing three 4A state titles along the way.
3. Las Cruces - 289Overall record: 87-31
The Bulldawgs have captured three No. 1 rankings and three 5A state titles.
4. Artesia - 278Overall record: 88-40
Artesia has compiled four 4A state championship victories and nine Top 25 finishes.
5. La Cueva (Albuquerque) - 245Overall record: 88-34
The Bears have finished in the Top 25 10 times, winning two state titles in the process.
6. Santa Rosa - 227Overall record: 97-18
Santa Rosa lays claim to four 2A state championships and nine Top 25 finishes.
7. Aztec - 208Overall record: 97-27
Aztec has notched eight Top 25 finishes as well as a 4A state title.
8. Lovington - 205Overall record: 76-53
The Wildcats have participated in six state championship games, winning four and finishing as the runner-up twice.
9. Fort Sumner - 180Overall record: 80-25
Fort Sumner has been the 1A state championship victor five times and the runner-up another time.
10. Manzano (Albuquerque) - 169Overall record: 75-41
Manzano has finished in the Top 25 nine times and has one runner-up finish.
11. Eldorado (Albuquerque) - 166Overall record: 72-46
Eldorado has recorded nine Top 25 finishes including finishing at No. 7 four times.
12. Rio Rancho - 150Overall record: 72-44
The Rams have 10 Top 25 finishes, five of which were Top 10.
13. Texico - 139Overall record: 80-32
Texico has won two state championships to go along with its four Top 25 finishes.
14. Robertson (Las Vegas) - 135Overall record: 82-46
Robertson has three 3A state titles and has finished as the runner-up another time.
15. St. Michael's (Santa Fe) - 130Overall record: 94-32
An undefeated season in 2012 helped the Horsemen capture one of their two 3A state titles.
16. Silver (Silver City) - 124Overall record: 93-34
Silver has one 4A state title on their resume, as well as three runner-up finishes.
17. Sandia (Albuquerque) - 122Overall record: 64-50
Sandia has finished in the Top 25 nine times, reaching the No. 4 rank twice.
18. Hatch Valley (Hatch) - 111Overall record: 74-44
The Bears have only cracked the Top 25 twice, but have two 2A state titles to show for it.
19. Cibola (Albuquerque) - 104Overall record: 52-56
Cibola has eight Top 25 finishes, three of which have been Top 10 finishes.
19. Cleveland (Rio Rancho) - 104Overall record: 45-14
A perfect season in 2011 gave the Storm a No. 1 ranking and a 5A state championship.
