Softball Recap: Cedar Crest Comes Up Short

If Cedar Crest was feeling good fresh off their 19-2 takedown of William Penn last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Cedar Crest came up short against the Palmyra Cougars on Friday, falling 15-9. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost three in a row.

Cedar Crest's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Palmyra, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cedar Crest will face off against Conestoga Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Palmyra, they will square off against Ephrata at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
