Bear Creek entered their tilt with ThunderRidge on Saturday with four consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the ThunderRidge Grizzlies. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bears also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.
Devlin Kaupa paced Bear Creek's offense, picking up six kills. Kaupa got some help from Dylan Imus and his 14 assists. Kaupa was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.
Bear Creek's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for ThunderRidge, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Bear Creek didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Littleton Public Schools on the 15th. After both having extra time off, ThunderRidge and Douglas County will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th. Douglas County will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something ThunderRidge surely won't give up without a fight.
