Fort Edward came tearing into  Friday's  game with six straight wins  dating back to last season, and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Hadley Luzerne Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Flying Forts also won the last time the pair played  back in October of 2024.
 One reason for the win was Fort Edward's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-14,  25-5.
 Addison Chester paced Fort Edward's offense, picking up nine kills. Chester got some help from  Kyley Varney and her 20 assists.  Rue Quarters controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.
Fort Edward's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Hadley Luzerne,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-5.
 Fort Edward wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  3-0  win against Schenectady on the 22nd. As for Hadley Luzerne, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  3-0  loss against Mayfield on the 22nd.
