Krayton Ritchie was a major factor in Kerens's victory over LaPoynor on Tuesday. Ritchie produced his best game of the campaign: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 13 over 4.2 innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
