Basketball Recap: St. Cloud Tech Comes Up Short

St. Cloud Tech was the 65-62 winner over Fergus Falls when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The St. Cloud Tech Tigers took an 80-63 bruising from the Fergus Falls Otters on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (60), the Tigers still had to take the loss.

St. Cloud Tech has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Fergus Falls, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

When St. Cloud Tech and Fergus Falls next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. St. Cloud Tech will challenge Alexandria and their four-game winning streak at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Fergus Falls will try to stop Moorhead's seven-game winning streak when the meet at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
