Volleyball Recap: West Ottawa Takes a Loss

If West Ottawa was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Grandville on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Utica Eisenhower Eagles on Saturday.

West Ottawa has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-13-1 record this season. As for Utica Eisenhower, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-2-1 record this season.

West Ottawa will challenge Grand Haven at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Utica Eisenhower, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against St. Mary Catholic Central on the 11th.
