Soccer Game Preview: Eastmark vs. Maricopa + How To Watch

The Eastmark Firebirds will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against the Maricopa Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Eastmark will be strutting in after a win while Maricopa will be coming in after a defeat.

Eastmark took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Desert Sunrise. It was an even better day for Juan Sanchez as he scored four goals for his team.

Meanwhile, Maricopa came up short against Arcadia on Thursday and fell 4-2. The loss put an end to Maricopa's undefeated start to the season.

The win got Eastmark back to even at 1-1. As for Maricopa, they now have a losing record of 0-1-2.

Eastmark beat Maricopa by a goal when the teams last played back in December of 2024, winning 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Firebirds since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
