Baseball Game Preview: Brookfield Warriors vs. Liberty Leopards

For the second straight game, Brookfield will face off against Liberty. The Warriors are taking a road trip to take on the Leopards at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Brookfield barely beat Liberty the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 15-2 margin over the Leopards on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Leopards: they've now won seven in a row.

Bray Coleman and Blake Hammond were a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Coleman pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. Meanwhile, Hammond pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. At the plate, Coleman scored two runs while going 1-for-3, while Hammond scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Hunter Warrender was a standout: he scored two runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Mike Pisarcik, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Brookfield now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Liberty, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the loss, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.
