Football Game Preview: DeSales Irish vs. Liberty Lancers + How To Watch

The DeSales Irish will challenge the Liberty Lancers at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in DeSales' favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

DeSales' defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Yakama Nation Tribal 62-0. The Irish haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Cohen Wood had an outrageously good game as he threw for 164 yards and five touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes. What's more, he racked up 165.2 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Jason Guest was Wood's top target, picking up 66 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

DeSales' defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Hudson Hall was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sacks himself. He has been hot, having posted at least one sack the last five times he's played. Caleb Prchal got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Liberty came up short against Kettle Falls on Friday and fell 40-28. The loss was the Lancers' first of the season.

DeSales' win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Liberty, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
