Baseball Game Preview: Chesapeake Panthers vs. Notre Dame Titans

The Chesapeake Panthers will take on the Notre Dame Titans at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Chesapeake has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 26.

Chesapeake came up short against Fairview on Friday, falling 21-2.

Chesapeake saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan White, who went 1-for-2 with one run. Ehret Hamilton also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame came up short against Wellston on Friday and fell 6-2.

Notre Dame's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Chesapeake, their loss dropped their record down to 3-20.

Chesapeake was able to grind out a solid victory over Notre Dame when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 8-3. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
