Baseball Recap: Barneveld Find Success

Barneveld took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Potosi/Cassville, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles skirted past Potosi/Cassville 5-4. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by just one run.

Barneveld has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Potosi/Cassville, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

Looking ahead, Barneveld will take on Riverdale at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Potosi/Cassville, they will venture away from home to take on Belmont at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
