Soccer Recap: Sharpstown Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

There's no place like home for Sharpstown, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Galena Park Yellowjackets on Wednesday. Anthony Fajardo Aguilar was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Sharpstown moved to 5-6 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Galena Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

Sharpstown will head out to challenge Carnegie Vanguard at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sharpstown will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each game than the last. As for Galena Park, they will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against Westbury at 12:00 p.m.
