Basketball Recap: Greensville County Takes a Loss

Greensville County has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 65-56 to the Bruton Panthers on Tuesday.

Bruton's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Annalise Wood, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 14 rebounds. That's the most boards Wood has posted since back in December of 2024. Bella Prinz was another key player, putting up 16 points and five steals.

Greensville County's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Bruton, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Bruton beat Greensville County by a score of 65-56 later that day.
