It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but South Sevier ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They beat the Beaver Beavers by a goal, winning 1-0. The victory was familiar territory for South Sevier, who have now won eight matches in a row.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Joey Elison, who's now up to five this season.

South Sevier's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-4. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three games. As for Beaver, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

South Sevier wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against San Juan on the 22nd. As for Beaver, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-0 defeat against Gunnison Valley on the 17th.
