Meanwhile, Excel Christian Academy came into Friday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against Christian Home Educators last Friday as Excel Christian Academy made off with a 49-24 victory. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-6.

Excel Christian Academy's win came from a few key players Grayson Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Paydan Handlin, who posted 13 points. Lanie Handlin was another key player, putting up nine points.

Grayson Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.3 points per game.
