Soccer Recap: Parkland Comes Up Short

Parkland lost against Central Davidson back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Parkland Mustangs lost 5-0 to the Central Davidson Spartans. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by exactly five goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Parkland and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Central Davidson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parkland will venture away from home to square off against West Stokes at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central Davidson, they will head out on the road to take on Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Davidson's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Trinity's offense will have their work cut out for them.
